Innovation Week: Watt Makes you Come Alive begins Monday, September 12th -17th! Join us for an entire week of events, curiosity pop-up booths, programming & opportunities designed to help you explore “watt” innovation and entrepreneurship means to you. We’ll kick off the week by discovering “Watt you are Curious About?” and continue with some awesome opportunities to help ignite those ideas, ending the week with a power surge community block party to celebrate a successful week full of innovating.

Sunday, September 11, 1:30 – 5:30 PM The Deliberative Citizenship Initiative is excited to host a Deliberation Facilitator Training open to all Davidson students, faculty, and staff, as well as to members of the wider community. This 8-hour training, spread across two days, will equip participants with skills and knowledge to improve their ability to facilitate difficult discussions about political and social issues among people who may have different backgrounds, values, and perspectives.

Wednesday, September 14, 12 – 1:00 PM Join as we hear from Kelly Weaver, Program Coordinator, about the Gig Hub program! She will cover all aspects of this unique program, including how to secure students for project based work and micro-internships, as well as potential grant funding to cover the costs of student employees.
