Innovation Community of Practice

April 15 @ 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm

Join us for the Hurt Hub’s monthly Innovation Community of Practice. In honor of earth month, this month’s topic will be on Circular Economies.

What if waste was just a design flaw? The traditional economy runs on a simple but costly loop: take raw materials, make something, and dispose of it when we’re done. A circular economy challenges that assumption. What does it look like to keep resources, products, and materials in use for as long as possible, and to design systems where nothing really becomes waste.

It’s an idea gaining traction across industries, from manufacturing and fashion to food systems and urban planning. But what does it actually mean in practice? Where are the real opportunities and the real obstacles? And how does it connect to the work we do every day?

We’re not bringing in a dedicated expert to tell us the answers. Instead, we open these questions to the group to hear how you think about it or what you have experienced. Whether you’re deeply familiar with the concept or hearing it for the first time, your perspective is what this conversation needs.
