The Ice House Entrepreneurship Program is designed to inspire and engage participants in the fundamental aspects of an entrepreneurial mindset as an essential life skill. The program draws upon eight fundamental concepts of entrepreneurial thought and process derived from the companion text, Who Owns the Ice House? Eight Life Lessons from an Unlikely Entrepreneur.

When: Wednesdays January 15-Feb 19 from 6:30pm-8:30pm
Where: The Hurt Hub 210 Delburg, Davidson, NC | Room 208
Commitment: Cohort participants generally spend 2-4 hours each week outside of our meeting time reading, watching course videos, and completing discussion board based assignments.
Who: This program is free and open to all thanks to a generous community grant. The program is intended for ages 18+. Participants do not need to be an entrepreneur or small business owner to attend.

Cherese L. Spand brings over two decades of expertise to the financial services industry, building upon her educational foundation from Mercy College in Dobbs Ferry, NY. Her passion lies in empowering clients through comprehensive insurance solutions, tax-free retirement planning, and asset protection strategies.
Drawing from her unique background as a Cosmetology Educator and her strong managerial experience, Cherese identified a critical gap in the market: financial literacy education for women and female entrepreneurs. From this insight, she founded SHE Wealth where she helps individuals as a Financial Empowerment Lifestyle Educator.
Her Philanthropic and community efforts include:
Founding Executive Board Member for Monroe County Women’s Commission; Board member of the Diversity Council for the LKN Chamber of Commerce; Chair of Legacy on the Westside Davidson; Member of Rotary International where she won Distinguished Rotarian of the year for 2018-2019.
