Bill May, co-founder and president of Sweet Relish, a social marketing platform that enhances websites/blogs by repackaging content, has two offices and an open office space in the Hurt Hub. Using meeting spaces for team meetings, with plenty of whiteboard space and team huddles for brainstorming and working together. Bill’s team has been with the Hurt Hub since the beginning and being close to the college and the large Davidson community has been huge for Sweet Relish’s business. Sweet Relish started with a few smart people and a business idea, and no revenue. The Hurt Hub provided an affordable place for meetings and for team cohesiveness, allowing Sweet Relish to thrive into what it is today and doubling its revenue for the last three years. Bill and his team have also hired Davidson students as interns through the Gig-Hub program.
