Applications ClosedWith topics including design thinking, intellectual property protection and applied artificial intelligence, Hurt Hub workshops help students develop practical tools they can apply in your classroom and beyond. Our workshops are designed to complement coursework, strengthening student skills and class discussions.
When students need guidance on turning a classroom idea into a product, connections to industry professionals, funding to advance a project, or support scaling research beyond the classroom, send them our way. Through mentorship, consulting experiences, innovation programs, and funding opportunities, Hurt Hub programs help students move from a question or curiosity to action.

The Cornelson Faculty Innovator-in-Residence program supports one faculty member each year with a year-long appointment and a $15,000 grant to advance scholarly work while helping students understand how ideas move from concept to action.

Need help with a departmental initiative or personal venture? Faculty can hire student consultants through the Davidson College Consulting Group (DCCG) for support with research, data collection, market analysis, strategy development, communications planning, and other project-based work. Student teams provide valuable support while gaining meaningful, real-world experience.

Yes, faculty are welcome to use our flexible spaces and open work areas. Private conference rooms can also be booked for workshops, seminars, meetings, project showcases, and speaker events. Our facilities are designed for conversation, collaboration, and experimentation, whether you are hosting a small group or a larger campus gathering. Not at all. While entrepreneurship is in our name, we work with faculty across every discipline. If your students are studying economics, biology, political science, the arts, or anything else, we can help connect their coursework to real-world application and experiential learning opportunities.
