“With the [Try It Fund] grant, I was able to purchase the tools I needed to bring that vision to life, but what I gained went far beyond equipment…Several students reached out to me to say they had watched my videos and that it helped them gain a clearer, more relatable picture of what life at Davidson is really like. This project started as a personal attempt to bridge a visibility gap, but it has grown into something with real impact. Thanks to this grant, I didn’t just tell my story, I helped others imagine their own.”

“At the Hurt Hub, I had the opportunity to work as both a videography intern and a consultant for the DCCG. These roles allowed me to explore my passion for digital storytelling by producing a documentary and helping small businesses and startups with video production.
