A rare immersive experience to learn from The Charlotte Fund’s partners through hands-on deep dives into start-up investment practices.

Join Venture Capitalists from The Charlotte Fund for an exclusive three-part course offering Davidson College students unique access to the world of venture capital. Limited to just 15 participants, this first-come, first-served opportunity provides an immersive look at how experienced VCs identify, evaluate, and structure investments. Special guests will include start-up founders pitching the class to gain investment from The Charlotte Fund and representatives from CreativeCo Capital.

Dates: April 1st, April 8th, and April 15th (three consecutive Tuesdays)

Time: 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM each session (dinner served all 3 nights)

Location: The Jay Hurt Hub for Innovation and Entrepreneurship

Eligibility: Open to Davidson College students only

Format: Interactive, discussion-based sessions with pre-work assignments

This experiential learning opportunity goes beyond theory, featuring live startup pitches seeking funding from The Charlotte Fund. Students will participate in simulated investment committees, analyze real deal structures, and learn directly from practitioners about the realities of the venture capital ecosystem.

The course utilizes a flipped classroom approach with pre-work materials to maximize in-person interaction and dialogue. Don’t miss this rare chance to develop practical venture capital knowledge from industry veterans in an intimate learning environment.
