The Nisbet Lecture Featuring Aniyia Williams

March 1, 2022 @ 7:30 pm - 8:30 pm

The Nisbet Lecture was established in 2014 through the generous support from Marian Nisbet and Chip Nisbet ’86.

Join us in person or virtually in The Duke Family Performance Hall for a public lecture led by Aniyia Williams, founder of Black & Brown Founders and co-founder of  Zebras Unite. Aniyia is a systempreneur, creator, inventor, tech changemaker, investor, and works to help the tech world live up to its promise of changing lives for the better.

From Concept to Coins: How to Launch A Startup

Many people are ready to step up and create new solutions to improve the human experience and quality of life. We’re entering a new age where a new kind of leader can try their hand at building the future, especially people with creative or unconventional backgrounds and fresh perspectives. During this session, Aniyia will share her journey, and how you can turn your most valuable skills into a profitable business, while staying true to who you are.
