About the Instructor:

Jason Idilbi is General Counsel at ClearCompany, a private equity backed company that provides a cloud-based HR software platform for middle market and enterprise customers. Jason started his career as a litigator in private practice but found that litigation didn’t fulfill him or align with his career goals of helping entrepreneurs achieve growth and accomplish business goals. He switched to an in-house counsel role in 2015 and has spent most of his time since then advising fast-growing B2B SaaS and fintech companies. He’s had tours of duty at a couple of Charlotte-based startup success stories, including Passport and AvidXchange, guiding the former through multiple capital raises and acquisitions and the latter through a blockbuster IPO on the Nasdaq stock exchange.

Jason is a proud double Tar Heel. He lives in Davidson and works remotely from the Hurt Hub, where he drinks more than his fair share of Summit coffee and Lenny Boy kombucha.
