Community Partnership in Action: Davidson Housing Coalition Teams Up with Elite Roof and Solar

The Hurt Hub@ Davidson’s mission of fostering organic connections between member companies came to life this year through a meaningful collaboration between Elite Roof and Solar and the Davidson Housing Coalition. This partnership exemplifies how our coworking community creates natural opportunities for local businesses to support important community initiatives.

Improving Housing for Davidson Families

The Davidson Housing Coalition recently undertook a comprehensive capital improvements project at The Bungalows on Jetton Street, updating and repairing all 32 affordable rental units. As part of this initiative, Elite Roof and Solar completed the replacement of eight original roofs dating back to 2000, along with installing appropriate guttering and gutter guards.

“Mick, Ross, and Jake offered us the most complete, professional assessment we’d received for the proposed scope of work,” shared Connie Wessner, Executive Director of Davidson Housing Coalition. “They were careful to make sure we understood not only what they were proposing but why. They met with our residents to explain the process and answer questions. And they did what they said they’d do. On time, on budget.”

The Power of Local Partnership

This collaboration highlights the importance of community-centered business relationships. As Wessner noted, “We value working with local contractors and suppliers because our work is for and on behalf of the Davidson community. Partnership is what makes it possible to tackle the constraints and inequities in the housing market. We’re always better off when we can work as neighbors.”

Elite Roof and Solar echoed this sentiment, stating: “Elite Roof and Solar highly values partnerships with local organizations like the Davidson Housing Coalition that are dedicated to serving our community. This collaboration allows us to contribute to safe, comfortable housing and support a mission that creates lasting impact for local families.”

Elite Roof and Solar Continues to Grow

We’re also excited to congratulate Elite Roof and Solar on their recent expansion. The company proudly announced the grand opening of its newest office in Columbia, South Carolina, marking a significant milestone in their continued growth and commitment to serving homeowners and businesses across both North Carolina and South Carolina.

This partnership between Elite Roof and Solar and Davidson Housing Coalition demonstrates exactly what we hope to foster at the Hurt Hub – meaningful relationships that benefit our entire community. If you want to learn more about our coworking community at the Hurt Hub please visit this link
