Join us for our monthly IDEA TAP, an open mic pitch night in front of a friendly audience, featuring ideas at all stages. Idea Tap is a mash-up of pitches, mentoring sessions and on-the-fly discussions. All founders will have 5 minutes to pitch, followed by feedback, Q&A and plenty of networking. This month features:
Jam – Founder and Davidson 2016 grad Shea Parikh presents Jam, a platform that facilitates greater human connection amongst employees in an organization. The application connects employees that otherwise wouldn’t find the time to connect and provides prompts around shared interests.
Motorco Apps – Cofounder Neal Simpson presents Conventional Applications, a virtual an immersive guide to cities and conventions through a platform designed for Convention Visitor Bureaus. Motoco’s travel apps are among the most popular on Apple and Android, with hundreds of thousands of downloads.
Urban Offsets – Founder Shawn Gagne will present growth-stage company Urban Offsets, a unique concept that couples and monetizes the environmental benefits of global forestry programs with carbon offsets for corporate and higher ed communities. The company maximizes the effectiveness of mission-based marketing by capturing consumers’ sentiments to support local causes and channeling those sentiments to build brand value.
FPScritic.com founder Bill Freeman will present his new idea for automated video game replay analysis to help the typical CS:GO player get better. Nearly 80% of video game players want to improve their performance, but frequently do not know how and waste time trying to get better with inefficient practice.
